Application
This system is designed for large and medium-sized sedimentation tanks featuring peripheral water inflow and outflow with central sludge discharge. It is ideally used for suction and removal of settled sludge in secondary sedimentation tanks at municipal wastewater treatment plants.

Uniform Flow Distribution: The peripheral inlet and outlet troughs are designed with side sections to ensure even water distribution and outflow.
Robust Drive System: Utilizes a combination of helical and worm gear reducers to guarantee optimal torque and speed output, equipped with overload protection for safe and reliable operation.
Adaptable Scraper Configuration: Employs a single-sided scraper for tanks ≤40m and double-sided for tanks >40m.
Non-Disruptive Sludge Removal: A horizontally perforated sludge discharge pipe prevents disturbance of density currents, maintaining hydraulic stability.
Optimized Sludge Extraction: The uniquely designed tapered suction pipe features a variable hole pitch (increasing outward) to ensure balanced suction across the tank floor, improving sludge concentration and reducing reflux power requirements.
Flexible Skimming Options: Offers both plate skimming (standard) and tube skimming methods.
Ease of Operation: Supports both local and remote control for convenient operation and monitoring.
Structure and Working Principle
The system features a center-driven, vertical-frame design. Wastewater enters through a peripheral distribution tank and flows uniformly into the sedimentation tank via bottom openings. A retaining skirt guides the flow from the tank periphery toward the center, allowing sludge to settle by gravity and form a distinct separation layer.
The drive unit rotates the central vertical frame, which in turn moves the scraper arms and suction pipe assembly. Sludge enters the suction ports under hydrostatic pressure and is discharged through a central pipe regulated by a sleeve valve for flow control.
Floating scum is directed by a skimmer to the pool edge, where it is raked into a scum trough for removal. The clarified supernatant flows over a triangular weir into the outlet channel.

Packing and Delivery
1. Waterproof packing with the international export standard by 20ft, 40ft, 40hp container. Equipment Fittings, Electric Motor and Power Cabinet will be packed in Wooden Case or Iron Box. Other Equipment will be packed by Color-Stripes Plastic Cloth.
2. The whole plant machinery size are large as normal, so we will use Waterproof cloth to pack all of them. The motor, gear box or other easily damaged parts, we will put them into box. We have a professional shipping department, they will try their best to save your container quantity.
